What is the Palisades Federal Credit Union Partners Program?

The Partners Program is open to any employer, group or membership organization that has employees or members in Rockland County. Partners can be small or large businesses, schools, houses of worship, union organizations, or virtually any type of membership organization. The Partners Program enables you to provide the option of membership in Palisades Federal Credit Union as a voluntary benefit, which is a valuable offering to your group. We will do all the work to provide you with what you need to package and promote this as a meaningful optional benefit that will improve their financial well-being.

What Does the Partners Program include?

While anyone who lives, works, attends school or worships in Rockland County is eligible to join Palisades Federal Credit Union, Partners who affiliate with Palisades Federal Credit Union get the following enhanced services for their employees, absolutely free:

User-Friendly Payroll Services

• We will work with you (or your payroll service if you have one) to facilitate direct deposit or payroll deduction for your employees. We’ll help set up the payment of loans, savings for a vacation, or funds for a home down payment, all through their payroll, saving time and money.

Customized Communications to Make You Look Good

• We will provide tailored communication materials to let your employees know their employer is a Palisades Federal Credit Union Partner and what this means. This includes attractive postcards and other brochures for you to distribute, and tailored electronic information and downloadable files that can be customized with your logo and shared with employees via e-mail or intranet, if suitable.
• Professionally designed and printed materials for HR representatives and benefits managers will be provided to include with benefit materials describing what Palisades Federal Credit Union membership offers, for their consideration.
• We will give you material display holders, posters and marketing materials for the displays about current credit union promotions which will be continually updated and delivered to you.

• We will schedule regular visits by credit union financial representatives to your workplace during mutually agreed upon times to enroll employees or take loan applications on-site, and answer questions about products and services.

• We will provide a link from your website, directly to Palisades Federal Credit Union’s website, for potential job seekers visiting your site to see this benefit which you provide them.
• We will list your company name and logo on Palisades Federal Credit Union’s website on the Partners page and highlight a different Partner each month on our scrolling banner, linking back to your website. Our website is visited by almost 2,000 hits monthly, giving your company great exposure.
• We will issue a press release announcement and photo opportunity to celebrate your affiliation with Palisades Federal Credit Union, if you choose to promote it and your company.
• We will give you a framed certificate to display commemorating the partnership with Palisades Federal Credit Union.

How Do You Become a Partner?

To become a partner is simple. Prepare a letter like the Sample on your company’s letterhead. Along with this letter of intent, we ask that you sign the Partnership Agreement with Palisades Federal Credit Union so that both parties move ahead with mutually agreed-upon objectives.
