However, members may be exposed to acts of fraudulent activity that are beyond PFCU’s control and it is ultimately our members’ responsibility to prevent and protect themselves from becoming an unsuspecting victim of identity theft, fraud or any other kind of scam.
Please note that PFCU will never ask for your password. If you get an email that claims to be from PFCU and asks for your password, it is someone trying to scam you. Never reply to an email requesting personal information as PFCU will never ask for personal information via email. Please avoid clicking on links in emails that you do not recognize. It is easy for phisers to spoof website addresses. While the address may look to be legitimate, it can direct you to fraudulent sites instead.
Please do not disclose personal information by phone unless you have verified the authenticity of the individual. PFCU will never initiate calls asking for personal information.
