Palisades Federal Credit Union's Internal Procedures
PFCU shares only information for legitimate business reasons, with the ultimate goal of bringing you, the member, greater convenience, more choices and conducting the business you've indicated that you want to conduct.
PFCU shares member information with its affiliates and certain vendors with whom it has a contractual relationship to provide specific products and services such as insurance services, credit cards and account statements. Because of the staffing limitations at PFCU we would not be able to offer you these services without the enlisted help from the third party vendors and affiliates we've chosen to conduct these business lines on our behalf, as permitted by law.
These third party affiliates and vendors are prohibited from using member information for any purpose other than that for which they have been contracted.
Personal financial information such as your account balance or loan information may be shared under the following circumstances.
- When such disclosure is in compliance with the law, a government agency or by court order.
- When a third party is verifying the existence or condition of your account in accordance with applicable law.
- When necessary to complete a transaction.
- To protect secured assets or the assets of Palisades Federal Credit Union.
- When you give us your written permission.
- To share our experience with you to consumer reporting agencies, such as credit bureaus.
As a member of Palisades Federal Credit Union you can be confident that the confidentiality of account information is the rule, not the exception. If you decide to terminate your membership or become an inactive member we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this policy and as stated in our Private Policy Statement.
