How do I join Palisades CU?
Just deposit $5 into your savings account — that’s it! You can open your account online or stop by any of our branches, and we’ll take care of the rest. Your $5 is your share in the cooperative. It’s still your money, and if you ever decide to close your account(s), we’ll return it to you in full.
Can I keep my account if I move?
Once you’re a member, you’re always a member!
No matter where life takes you, your Palisades membership goes with you. Even if you move outside of Rockland or Bergen, you can keep your account open and enjoy all the same benefits.
Is my money insured?
Yes! We are federally insured by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), a United States federal agency responsible for chartering, supervising, and regulating federal credit unions. Your individual account is currently insured up to $250,000.
What if I lose my Platinum Rewards Mastercard®, or it gets stolen?
If you lose your card, please call us at (800) 449-7228, or if you are outside the United States, please call us collect at 727-299-2449. We’re available to help 24/7.
What if I forget my online banking password?
If you do not remember your online banking password, click the forgot password link on the online banking log-in screen to initiate a password reset.
